*Johan ’Bushido’ Sakimaru is the main protagonist and titular character of the manga, Soul Hunt. He is a 15 year-old thief who had to suffer growing up alone, learning from what happens to others. As a result, he became a bandit and was infamous in his village for his notorious schemes. However, he was evenetually put into a situation where he was forced to travel with a companion to collect.

*SoulHunt Idle is a ’RPG-Themed Clicker/idle game’ in it’s early developer stage at the moment. The game starts out with an optional tutorial where you will be getting familiar with most of the functions of the game such as collecting and selling souls, working with side skills such as Timber, Mining Tailor and more.
I saw a post about SoulHunt this morning over on Rock Paper Shotgun, and it looks both intriguing and freaky. Plus, the fact that the Soul Hunt open alpha is currently available for everyone to try out is a good reason to mention it here.
SoulHunt, from what I gather from the gameplay trailer and the game’s Greenlight page, is a multiplayer hide’n’seek game that tends towards the darker side of things. Some of the players are the souls and some are the seekers. The souls have to find a hiding place in one of the many ordinary objects scattered around the map (mugs, brooms, fire hydrants, etc.). That sounds simple enough, and it seems like hiding in a mug in a cupboard of mugs would be a great place to avoid detection.Soulhunter Kayn Wallpaper
But here is the kicker…every soul emits a heartbeat which can be heard by the seekers if they get close enough. Moreover, and herein lies the freaky part, the seekers are rather disturbing looking clowns that are out to harvest you. If they find you, you have to run for it, which makes what looks like a rather funny chase scene with a clown chasing down a mug that is scooting across the floor.
Anyway, it looks like one of those game that could be quite hilarious if you play with a bunch of friends online. So check out the Soul Hunt open alpha and get ready to harvest some souls! Enjoy!

SoulHunt is a cool ‘Hide ‘n Seek’ online multiplayer game inspired by the prop hunt mods, where you don’t hide behind objects, you hide inside them – you really can be anything from a table to a turd.
Teams are divided into hiders and seekers, the hiders can hide in anything they see (and we mean ANYTHING) with a goal of avoiding the seekers for as long as possible. Thanks to your ability to possess any object, hiding in plain sight is easy, but it’s still not a walk in the park – the hunters can hear your heart beat by pressing ‘Q’. Hiders can stop their heartbeat, but only for a short time, and once a seeker knows you’re in the area you’ll have to be pretty sneaky to avoid detection.
SoulHunt features one map at the moment (a large hospital), the main ‘hide and seek’ game mode and the ‘clown hunter’ seeker. It’s still very early in development, but the core gameplay is solid and the devs have great plans to expand on it – with new maps, game modes, sfx & graphical upgrades, soul-trails, perks, currency and skill sets. It’s already great fun in the current build though – whether you’re clown, a table, a coffee cup, a turd or a banana – you’ve never played a game of hide and seek quite like this!Soulhunter Kayn Spotlight
